2007 ComfortSport™ Safety Notice
Potential Problem:
Click here to view correct vs. incorrect routings. On the affected seats, the Lower
Anchorage belt was misrouted
behind the shoulder portion of the harness instead of
under the crotch belt/buckle portion of the harness. In the event of a crash, a
misrouted Lower Anchorage belt could affect the performance of the car seat if it is installed in the
rear-facing mode and the Lower Anchorage belt is attached to the vehicle's LATCH anchors.
You
are
not affected by this Safety Notice if you are using the ComfortSport
forward-facing
& have rerouted the Lower Anchorage belt according to the instruction manual for use in this mode.

Solution:
Consumers with an affected Graco® ComfortSport™ 5-Point harness convertible car seat can
click here to download instructions to reroute the Lower Anchorage belt. If you are
unsure, simply install the car seat rear-facing using the vehicle seat belt instead of LATCH.
If you are using a ComfortSport outlined in the information above in the forward-facing
mode, this Safety Notice does not apply to you. Rerouting the Lower Anchorage belt according to the
instruction manual for forward-facing use will have eliminated the issue.
If you do not know
the model number and manufacture date of your car seat, you can find it on the label on the back of the
car seat.
